Kentucky Derby Run For the Roses: Final Update

The KDRFTRHC has ended with a dramatic win by Calvin "Bo-Rail" on Street Sense. This win had direct implication on our little family contest. Coming in to the Derby, Antilles Stable had wrestled away the lead from Benden Weyr and Apache_Rose_Peacock. That lead, however, was only 12 points. With the Kentucky Derby counting the most of all the races we tracked though the winter and spring, it set up as The Decider.

Benden Weyr came from behind and snatched the championship with a strong day. Benden had the trifecta activated, so he received maximum horse points. He did not have trainer or jockey.
